1.) Action Replays
I'm sure all of those videos showing the the Nintendogs puppies used action replays. Action replays are cheating devices where you can shrink your dogs, get maximum trainer points or money, etc, and those people used one of those to shrink their dogs then say "oh look! My nintendog had a puppy! See, it is real." No it's not. I'm telling you, they used an action replay. And if this is giving you any ideas to buy an action replay and shrink your dogs, DON'T! Action replays can seriously mess up your game. Just search it. There are some people who had to completely reset their whole nintendogs game because of an action replay.
2.) Those Pictures
There are many breeding pictures that seem believable too.
Pictures of dogs "breeding"
This picture may look real, but here are some ways I can tell that it's not:
I think the picture's photo shopped because notice the male "humping" the female? Well he's in regular standing position, just edited and turned upwards to make it look that way.

These pictures show the puppies. But if you look up close, you will notice that it is not the actual breed of the "parents."

This is a dachshund.
This is my last picture of a "pregnant" lab. From a distance it actually looks that way.
The stomach has been digitally painted in the front of the stomach to look bigger. Notice how the color does not match with the normal fur color.
3.) Just Think About It.
I'm sure if you could actually breed in this game, it would tell you in the game manual. But it doesn't. I know for a fact that if you email or call Nintendo with that question, they will say no, you can't, the game wasn't designed for breeding. Another big thing is in the game, Nintendogs are puppies and they never grow up. Puppies can't have puppies. Even after reading all of this and you still believe Nintendogs can breed, fine. Call me a hater. Say I'm wrong. That's fine with me. I'm just trying to help you. If you try breeding, it will not work so please don't waste all of that time. Come on! You could be looking for the Jack Russel book instead or training for competitions, or just something better! Thank you for reading this.

DeleteThat was just normal breathing. The game lags and jumps, making it to look that way. I know this is like, wto years late, but you simply cannot breed.
People used a game hack called "Action Replay", as mentioned in the article, and action replay allows you to modify and edit the game, including the dogs model, such as size. The puppies in both Nintendogs and Nintendogs+Cats always remain puppies, and do not age as stated in the games manual. However, there are signs that your dog has aged, this is not 100% proof that they age, but if your dog becomes less playful (to certain toys, objects, etc.), they have aged slightly. I do not believe this though, and Nintendo stated that they cannot breed. Even I tried it without action replay, followed all the steps, and nothing worked.
Also,
+Unknown When a dog looks fat, it means that you've either been feeding it too much, or it has been eating garbage, or it is just plump.
Well... Crap i wasted my time trying... :((
ReplyDeleteI tried it and it worked so you are a lier
ReplyDeleteAll the facts are there, and people who put this person down are rude. I have been playing Nintendogs for YEARS and nothing has happened, nor has anything happened with my Golden Puppies Timmy and Rose. So their. They just play with each other and other dogs.
